My experience at the Wexner Center was wonderful. In fact, this was my second time visit the Wexner Center. I know nothing about Annie Leibovitz before I went so after the exhibition, I came to realize how famous she is because of the amazing photos. In the exhibit, I am very impressed by a photo named Hunter S Thompson and Jann Webber, taken in New York City in 1976. The woman sat on the right side of the photo held knife seemed like crazy. On the opposite of the woman, a man sat on the chair calmly just looking at her. Behind them, a chair was fired but none of them cared about it. The author blurred the background and only left one picture of devil, who wore mask and hat, starring at the man and woman. I thought devil is the theme of the photo because it was his magic that confused people.
In addition, I also went THE BOX and watched Mary Reid Kelley’s “The Syphilis of Sisyphus”. I came in the box in the middle of the show so I am not really caught the theme of the short movie. I thought the movie was a little weird. The author used strange characters and set to show the theme. Overall, I prefer Annie Leibovitz’s exhibit better because there are lots of awesome photos.
